I first became involved with the Children’s Bereavement Center over three years ago for an internship, while I was completing my Master’s degree. As a current lead facilitator, I continuously witness the positive impact the CBC has on the community. Through the CBC’s peer-led bereavement support groups, families that have experienced a devastating loss can find relief in a warm, supporting, non-judgmental atmosphere. It is an honor to be a part of such a worthwhile organization.

Dear family and friends,
Tough economic times have made donations even more important to the Children’s Bereavement Center. Currently, the CBC serves over 300 children and family members. Moreover, the CBC offers these services for free-- meaning cost is never a barrier to anyone.
My work as a mental health counselor has further corroborated my belief in the vital importance of the CBC. Unfortunately, loss and bereavement are issues that everyone will struggle with in their lifetime. If you could please help the CBC with a donation (no amount is too small!)—to ensure that the CBC can continue to provide children and families with the support they need.

The year is coming to a close and you might be considering different tax strategies to give to your favorite charities.
