Dear Friends,
As many of you know, I served on the board of a very special organization called the Children’s Bereavement Center. The CBC provides support groups for children who must cope with the loss of a loved one. They offer a supportive, knowledgeable, and caring environment to these children who must face the tremendous challenge of rebuilding their lives in a healthy fashion through the process of grieving and healing. Unfortunately, the need for this service is ever increasing in our community.
The Children's Bereavement Center is the only venue of it's kind in South Florida, and supplies this very important support at no cost to the children or their families.
Your gift means so very much to the many children in our community who have suffered such trauma and sadness, and will help insure the center's continued growth and ability to meet their needs.
