I have had the pleasure of working with the Children’s Bereavement Center for the past four years. During that time, I’ve taken volunteer training that deepened my understanding of how well the peer support group program works, attended holiday parties where my own losses were wrapped up in the care of the children and their families, and watched the organization grow so that it could continue to meet the needs of our community. Behind the care that the staff and volunteers offer all of us who have lost someone we loved is a solid professionalism and stewardship of our donations. I’m impressed with the methodology that supports program development, the continuing evaluation of outcomes and the hard work that goes into everything that they do. Please join me in supporting the CBC for this year and for the future; with your help we can turn lives around after loss.
