Group Services Coordinator

As Group Services Coordinator I conduct intake interviews and guide new families through the orientation process.  This is also my 10th year as Lead  Facilitator for  elementary age groups.  Drawing on over 30 years of teaching and counseling experience I am gratified to see the impact that CBC has had on the lives of hundreds of children.  Through play and creative activities these grieving children understand each other in a way no one else can.

Since 1999 the CBC has been providing a safe and nurturing environment where families who are dealing with the loss of a loved one can come together.  With the help of support groups, projects and special events our participants are able to feel a sense of belonging and find some normalcy in their lives.

Currently the CBC provides peer support groups for over 300 children and families each month.  Groups are free of charge and families are invited to participate for as long as they like.

Please join me in supporting the CBC. Your contribution (any amount helps), will ensure that these children and families continue to get the help they need.  If you are not able to help at this time please remember that CBC sends lovely acknowledgements when donations are made in memory of loved ones.

Thank-you very much,

Marilyn
