CBC NewsCBC Peer Support Groups meet Monday evenings throughout the school year. Orientations will be held over the summer months. Call the CBC office for
information on the next Orientation for new families. Beginning this program year the Young Adult Bereavement Support Group is moving to Tuesday Evenings on the UM Campus at Hillel (1100 Sanford Drive)
It is with great sadness that we announce
the death of a true presence in our community, Doris Bass.
Doris has been a long time bereavement
educator, advocate, and friend to both the Children's Bereavement Center®
and those of us who have grown from her involvement in our professional
and personal lives. Doris acted for many years as a group facilitator
and Advisory Board member for the Children's Bereavement Center. She
has supported our program, our community, and many of us
personally, through her wisdom, volunteerism, and energy. She
will truly be missed.
With great generosity her family has
asked that in lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the CBC.
Her obituary and messages to her family
