CBC Volunteer Facilitator
I was a facilitator with the Children's Bereavement Center for three years and enjoy spending time with children I don't see each day in my classroom. My love for children comes from being an elementary, Miami-Dade County Public School Teacher. I have taught at various schools in the southwest Miami area and have owned my own day care and kindergarten. Children have always been in my history, and now the Children's Bereavement Center adds a special place in that history.

As a facilitator with the Children's Bereavement Center, I shared a wonderful and unique opportunity to give comfort and a peace of mind to children who have experienced the loss of a loved one. The center is a one of a kind comfort zone for children and families who need a moment of caring and sharing.
Facilitating has been a warm and loving experience for me, as I give back the caring and shairing to children who need extra comfort during these difficult times.
