The Children’s Bereavement Center (CBC) turns lives around after loss. A unique, non-profit organization, the CBC is South Florida’s community resource for bereavement support. It provides warm, compassionate, and professionally guided support to grieving children, teens, young adults, parents, families, and friends. With the CBC’s guidance, education and help, participants join with each others to share their experiences of loss and the challenges they face – establishing personal renewal, regaining a hopeful perspective, and together they begin to heal. The CBC is the only agency in Miami-Dade, Broward and Monroe Counties dedicated solely to these aims, providing ongoing services through peer support, education and advocacy. CBC Group Services are free to Participants. It receives neither government support, nor insurance reimbursement. Instead, the CBC depends on the awareness and generosity of the South Florida community to give our children the opportunity to heal and feel whole once again. CBC also offers education and training to the community’s healthcare and education professionals through the CBC Training Institute. In addition, the CBC Loss of Life Response and Support Team provides crisis consultation and support to schools, businesses, and community agencies. Please help our community’s children and families at this critical juncture in their lives by generously supporting the CBC. Your considered gift will help our children and families find the hope and healing to turn their lives around after loss. Phil Weinbach
