The Children's Bereavement Center Peer Support Groups are dedicated to providing support, education, and resources for children and their families.

There is no fee for participation.

Peer support groups are open-ended; participants may join at any time during the year after attending an Orientation. Orientations are held monthly for families considering participation, and for other interested persons. To register for an Orientation, call 305-668-4902.

Because grief is unique to each individual, children and their families decide their length of participation at the CBC.

For Children:
Groups are open to children who have lost a parent, sibling, grandparent, relative, or friend as a result of illness, accident, suicide, or homicide.

For Adults:
Groups are open to any adults who play a significant role in the child's life.
